Dream Your life

Impossible And Can’t Are Just Words

Everyone, at some point of his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody special, somebody big. Who hasn’t fantasized about being the one who hits the winning six in the cricket test series? Who hasn’t dreamed of being famous actor or actress? And how many times have we dreamed of being rich and successful, or happy in our relationships?

We all dream big dreams and have great aspirations. Unfortunately sometimes our dreams remain just that – dreams. And our aspirations easily collect dust in the memory cards of our minds

Instead of experiencing exciting adventures, we get caught up in living our day-to-day existance, just barely alive.

But you know what? Life could be so much better, if only we learned to aim higher

The key to change… is to let go of fear..

“People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily.” – Zig Ziglar

Following your passion isn’t effortless. I know many who think it should be, which is another obstacle holding them back from taking action. This is not a ride in the park. It’s a path of rapid growth. It contains both joy and fear.

The most common problem becoming more alive are two words. Impossible and Can’t. Many people get hung up thinking I can’t do this. It’s too hard. It is impossible. No one can do this.

Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try.If you never start, you will never get anywhere. If you want to find your passion, it starts with trying. You will fail, you will make mistakes, but that’s a part of the journey.

Remember that scientists were baffled when they took a look at the humble bumblebee. Theoretically, they said, it was impossible for the bumblebee to fly. Fortunately for the bumble bee no one told it that. So fly it does.

On the other hand, some people suffer from dreaming totally outrageous dreams and not acting on them. The result? Broken dreams, and tattered aspirations.

Everything that has been invented has at one time or another been thought of as impossible. Don’t let other people hold you down when it comes to going after your dreams. Trust your heart and follow what most excites you.

If you limit yourself with self-doubt, and self-limiting assumptions, you will never be able to break past what you deem impossible. If you reach too far out into the sky without working towards your goal, you will find yourself clinging on to the impossible dream.

As James Dean said “Dream as if you’ll live forever, live as if you’ll die today”.

Try this exercise. Take a piece of paper and write down some goals in your life. Under one header, list down things ‘you know you can do’. Under another header, write the things ‘you might be able to do.’ And under one more, list the things that that are ‘impossible for you to do.’

Now look at all the headers strive every day to accomplish the goals that are under things ‘you know you can do’. Check them when you are able to accomplish them. As you slowly are able to check all of your goals under that heading, try accomplishing the goals under the other header-the one that reads ‘you might be able to do.’

As of the items you wrote under things I could do are accomplished, you can move the goals that are under things that are ‘impossible for you to do’ to the list of things ‘you might be able to do.’

As you work through this process, you will find out that the goals you thought were impossible become easier to accomplish. And the impossible ones begin to seem possible after all.

You see, the technique here is not to limit your imagination. It is to aim high, and start working towards that goal little by little.

Dreams are important, but they do not come to fruition if you do not take action. Don’t procrastinate. Start living the life you want to live today. There is always a step you can take. There is always something you can do.

Take life one day at a time..You do not need a crystal ball. Knowing what steps to take makes life boring. Enjoy the surprises that life throws at you
